Cirris Trade Show Booth

Posted on 19.12.15

Role: Designer

I was tasked with reviving Cirris's trade show presence by designing a booth that reflected the new Cirris brand. The discovery process involved in-depth analysis of demographics of show attendees and how they interact with vendors, as well as defining how Cirris really wanted to show their products in person.
As designer and producer on this project, I chose the booth vendor, designed and produced all booth graphics, made a scale miniature model for help in determining layout configurations, and created new information brochures for the sales staff manning the booth.

Before

We had a very much outdated booth before the redesign.

After

I wasn't at any of the trade shows to get some better shots but these give a good reference to the improvements.

Software User Manual

Posted on 1.5.15

Role: Design, Production

The manual for Cirris Easy-wire software. This project required knowledge of book composition and layout in Indesign in addition to design of the manual itself. I worked closely with the technical writer during the entire process to ensure that the writer's intent was being communicated effectively. The full manual can be downloaded here.

Tangled

Posted on 24.4.15

Role: designer

The Cirris marketing team is relatively new to the company. This ad was a very far departure from the ads the company is used to producing in periodicals. Instead of showing a picture of our product with a list of features, we presented an idea that people in our market can identify with and offered a solution to a problem.
This project involved finding the perfect stock image and then arranging cables on a manikin head and shooting various configurations. I then made the final composite image in Photoshop and the layout was done in Indesign.

Cirris Website

Posted on 21.4.15

Role: web designer

What was most evident when I arrived at Cirris was first, that this company desperately needed branding work and second, we needed a website from this century. Due to extreme deadlines and the perspective of company leadership at that time, I was tasked with doing both of these projects simultaneously.
The website, in many ways has supported the (still ongoing) branding project and so this website design went through a rough discovery phase.
The website was built on the Joomla! platform.
